Easy to follow. No jargon. Pictures helped. Didn't match my screen. Incorrect instructions. Too technical. Click the magnifying glass icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen. Then scroll down and click Additional power settings. You will see thins under Related settings. This will open a new window with your Control Panel settings. Next, select Balanced and click Change plan settings. Then click Change advanced power settings. The Power Options window will pop up. Next, expand the Sleep section and then expand Allow wake timers.
You can do this by clicking the plus sign next to it. I have also disabled it on the bios. Having done this and the pc still wakes up is what puzzles me the most when I know if I unplugged the network card the pc will sleep for hours until I decide to wake it. It is wired not wireless.

It is for multiple monitors and I've unchecked the box and the pc still wakes up. I've checked for hidden tasks and the only one I found that could be the culprit was MS feeds.
However, after deleting it the pc still wakes up. I do not have sidebar enabled. Windows update is set to notify me when updates are available. I unchecked startup programs. The pc still woke up.
