Crossroads program inc nj

Supportive staff and client focused programs. Programs support opportunities for personal development. I did my internship in two programs who let me flex my time to balance things out with school. Was this review helpful? Yes No. Report Share. Excellent management and cared about their clients, employees and consumer's.

We were able to be creative and do our jobs without micromanaging. Flexible work hours. This company is a lack luster agency. They over work their Direct Support workers. This agency has a poor communication starting from the top all the way down to the director of the programs. Your problems and concerns are often overlooked and not taken seriously. I would stay away from this agency at all cost. I enjoy the workplace and the youth.

This is a good job to move up quickly and become productive and safe place to work. The management is great and listens to concerns. Pros good hours and always overtime. Cons low pay.

My experience was awful. Management was not supportive but very demanding and unprofessional with staff and clients. My director often made me feel uncomfortable due to making inappropriate comments about how light my skin was as an African American woman.

Your experience matters. Help out others considering your employer. Rate your employer. Stressful and exhausting. Workplace culture is toxic. Hardest part of the job is having to deal with lazy staff, incompetent bosses, and wild residents. There was no enjoyable part. You can develop social service skills and pay is good! Working with the individuals and families we was very rewarding! I recommend rhis job to anyone interested.

Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No. Overall my time at Crossroads was rewarding and I enjoyed working there. Of course with any small agency there are hiccups along the way. I would recommend that pay be increased for employees. They seem to lack a plan on how to reach intended objective.

Overall morale is very low staff are not compensated for the work they do. Pros Work available. Cons Poor pay and lack of growth. Great company to work for. Staff and youth were like one big family. This was a group home facility that housed at risk youth; ages years. Cons low pay. My experience was awful. Management was not supportive but very demanding and unprofessional with staff and clients.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Pros Very Relaxed Atmosphere. Cons Job was an 8-hour a day job. However, some days due to unexpected events, the work day could be hours. Yes There are 4 helpful reviews 4 No. No a good place to work. Don't work for them. They overwork you and grossly underpay you. They do not treat their employees well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros The work is rewarding. Cons Hard work and Low pay. Yes There are 2 helpful reviews 2 No.

During a typical day most of the youth are supposed to be in school. The rest who have graduated or who are yet to be enrolled. Throughout the day there are room check conduced for the youth who are still in the group home. There is a sign in and out book to allow the youth to have some accountability. I've learn so many things since I have been there.

Medication is also dispensed if need on each shift. The hardest part about the job is getting a good shift partner to work with. The most enjoyable part the job is working along side the director at my program. What is your current addiction OR problem that you are seeking help for?

How long have you had this issue? Hoping you guys can reach back out to me soon. Peace and gratitude. Crossroads Programs, Inc.
