Download apps for the samsung behold

I was trying to root my samsng behold 2 earlier today using the command codes on theunlockr. I thought everything was going well as I went all the way to the last step where it rebooted my behold 2.

Problem is, the phone kinda just turned off after doing the reboot command and didn't turn back on by itself I gave it like 10 minutes.

I eventually then just turned on the phone manually and noticed that everything was super laggy. I rebooted my phone a few times and it was laggy everytime so I decided to do a hard reset. The problem is that when I attempted the hard-reset, it will now get stuck on the samsung screen when trying to load up stayed there for over 30 minutes. I can still enter the phone if I just start it up regularly without trying to hard-reset, but it will continue to be VERY laggy. Is there anything I can do to restore this phone back to its original state?

I was reading about using ODIN to flash it or something, but for some reason my computer doesn't detect my phone when I go into Download mode on startup it does however detect the usb drivers on my phone once the phone officially startsup into its homepage.

Alright whats up people I was recently searching through and through for a way to get mobile internet without paying that ridiculous android price so as I was searching I stumbled across a regular behold forum at Samsung Behold Forum - New Proxy TMobileX Free Internet! Instructions on how to use proxy: Open up the default browser on your Samsung Behold. Type in the following address into the : tmo-x. How do I get the pictures taken with my phone on my computer?

I need to back them up before I root my phone and I can only save the ones on my sd card but cant seem to find the ones taken with my phone. I am guessing they got saved to the phones memory. What is everyone doing to transfer itunes from your computer to your phone? I just added an easy phone app which worked but I also have double twist on my computer. I couldn't get double twist working earlier which is why I got the app, but now both are working.

Anyway, what is everyone else doing? Has anyone experienced any problems with your phones not receiving phone calls? I've had, on more than one occasion, where people are trying to call me and it doesn't go through. My phone never rings but the person told me that it rang 3 times and went to voicemail. Is that Galaxy build problem or is that a T-Mobile problem? If there isn't an easy fix, I'm gonna call Customer Care and see if I can get the phone swapped for something else After many attempts to try and use the terminal emulator that is already preloaded onto the behold 2 , and many failures..

After trying out different Terminal Em. Peace Ladz. I have just recently bought a Behold 2 with the price drop. I like the phone except that it is very slow. So i would like to root it and run a factory1. I was succesfully able to get adb to detect my phone serial. May 7, i cannot see here where to download odin? Is the process called rooting? Why am I not able to save applications and other documents to my sd card on android?

My phone is extremely slow now, force closes often and the battery dies every 15 min. Is there any way to save apps to the sd card?

I have just recently bought a Behold 2 with the price drop. I like the phone except that it is very slow. So i would like to root it and run a factory1. I was succesfully able to get adb to detect my phone serial. I know this 2. It sucks having to decide which apps are least important.

I have just rooted my desire and its fine, i did a back up too so ive not lost anything and its working fine, but im trying to still figure out how to make a default setting of some kind so my apps save to my SD card rather than internal memory.

Is it possible to store applications on the SD card without rooting the phone? Thank you for clearing any confusion concerning this matter. I have a Moto Brickflop and was wondering if you can save the apps to the memory card.

My internal memory is already almost full and my phone is running soo slow. Looking at all the pros and cons from froyo got me wondering, how important is it to put the apps on the memory card? I was actually curious about saving some items in the phones internal memory, ie movies, etc. When trying to take out my sd card, i took off the cover that holds the sd card. I could use some pictures on how its supposed to look when connected.

I have been trying to put it back on and all I ended up doing was bending it. Best implementation of an SD card slot ever. I guess milestone is indeed a great device until i experience the problem of memory shortage for applications in the phone internal memory. I did a few searches and couldn't find anything, so I decided to be lazy and start a new post on this. Has anyone found an application that will move all applications to the SD card to save phone space and speed everything else up?

Would we have to use that try3 file again? As much as I try I can't seem to get my behold 2 to respond to adb to root it. I have Linux mint and Win7 to use for this.

How do i back up my phone before rooting amd what will i get if i do root My Behold 2 ate my SD card and I lost some important pictures. I had one saved as a wallpaper and it's still the wallpaper. Phone is not rooted because I've had issues rooting with the new 1.

I'm not sure where the wallpapers are located. I've seen the location before but for the life of me I can't find it again. I know how difficult and confusing It can be to root your phone, or put a custom ROM. If you need help, I will be more than willing to answer your questions. As I just got my phone with installed rom 1.

I was playing a bit with the WiFi and the battery status bar was still less then half bar. I did turn off my WiFi and using only 2g network to save battery life.

What does this mean and how can I save more battery life since I don't use it the whole night. So the phone suppose to be less than half bar battery life at least. Putting the phone in sleep can save battery life or not on the Behold II?

What are some ways that can save the battery life on the Behold II? Does the charging technique can at least save some part the of the battery life? Leaving it all drain out, turning off the phone and then charge it? Here are some ways that I have read in android forums 1. I'm sure all you modders know this, but as a newbie to the behold 2 i wanted to share this with all the other newbs.

If you want to run your phone twice as fast without rooting, just install PandaHome [free] from the Market.
